I'd be wary of bidding

The seller only has 1 feedback record.

    From leadmill website:

Selling music tickets isn't illegal IIRC, only touting football tickets...

    Or am I wrong?

They are trying to stop such practices - as a private establishment they are within their rights to refuse entry for whatever reason.

yes but selling tickets isn't illegal

buying them certainly isn't! there's no way they would be able to stop people from coming in.

They CAN stop people from coming in. It's in the terms and conditions.

He didnt outbid himself, he just hadnt submitted a high enough bid to meet the existing highest bidder, and kept upping his offer until it reached the undisclosed highest bid level.

They can, but why would they?

The Leadmill sold the tickets for the marked price, but someone else has sold them on. How has that hurt anyone in any way?

Personally I don't see what's wrong with it. If you buy tickets for your mates and some back out- and you can make a big profit- why not get shut of them on ebay.

Supply and demand- if people are willing to pay it, then its their choice.

Different things for different people I guess

I tend to look to just get my cash back rather than make a fat profit.

So do it- I always buy tickets for mates and any I don't get rid of face value to people I know go on ebay. usually they go for either face value or maybe a bit more. Sometimes I have taken a loss, all fair enough.

But between the lot of us down here who make it to gigs we've got a few spare for that NME Monkeys gig, and if someone wants to give us £100+ per pair I'll snap their hand off. I didn't purposely set out to make money, but I bloody well hope I do.
