Escapade really is the worst thing that happened to the town centre

I've never been in the Barnsley one thankfully, that end of town is an embarrassment. Going past Peel Sq towards Welly St is like going through a time warp. 70s bars, party bars, litter, dirty takeaways, cheesy nightclubs and a strip club full of naked chavs.

It's what the masses want though. Actually, it's what I (thought I) wanted before I discovered more so I'm no different. Why provide new music, new artists, bands, hip-hop and dance when Chesney Hawkes and Bon Jovi on repeat is still (still!!!) flavour of the day, providing that is folk are pissed out of their mind. If you want to get rid of Booze Britain, don't increase alcohol taxes or spend fortunes on campaigns... simply ban crap bars and nightclubs that can only be tolerated when absolutely mashed. It really is that simple. If folk had decent places to go, maybe they wouldn't want to be drunk when they got there.

Glad you enjoyed it, the first band from Hull 'Vibrant Rain' were very good. We seemed to have plenty of new faces in last night including some blokes turning up with multiple Thai women, very weird.

It's the night club down wellington street, it used to be the lib club. It's a sort of Moron Magnet for all the towns brainwashed youth. They had Coolio perform there and he was attacked and had bottles thrown at him.
