Ok the guy is now in the squad, so now we should accept that, he's 17 and all this negative press is surely gonna get to him. As an Englishman i will support the team to the end so the players we have in the squad lets get behind them.
Ok Sven might have f`ucked up here, but i remember when a certain Hansen said " YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH KIDS" oh how this has come back to haunt him, lets hope this situation comes back to haunt the fookers who are slating this decision.

Ps drunk as a skunk and i will delete as an when.

No that's fair enough mate. He's a good prospect and he's the one player the opposition won't be able to plan for and might just cause a few surprises. Arsenal wouldn't have paid £12m if he wasn't DAMN good.
exactly.. and his pace reminds me of me... errrrr like 25 yrs ago..
no seriously like you said no one knows about him and his pace really is blinding, and i really think he's gonna take his chance and be a find of the world cup.

" YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH KIDS".............and they didn't !!! Biggest supported club in the world And what has Fergusson won In all his years at Man,ure he has won the European cup..........ONCE !!! Thats a poor poor record
RE: " YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH KIDS".............and they didn't !!! im 100% sure hes won a few premier league's , maybe a couple of fa cups and a legue cup too.....
RE: " YOU'LL WIN NOTHING WITH KIDS".............and they didn't !!! The quote was after one of the first games of the season away to Villa I think, they went on to win that seasons Premier League title.
RE: It would have been nice if Sven had actually seen him play I think he'll do alright. If he's got the kind of pace that people are making out teams with a slower defence will be forced to sit deeper and that will create the space that Lampard and Gerrard will love. It would appear that we have to have a 'passenger' up front, so it may as well be one that can create space and the opposition won't be able to put in their pocket for 90 minutes.
RE: Why do people keep saying he cost £12 million? rising to £12 depending on a contractual arrangement.
I think It's the single biggest pile of ballacks related to football that I've ever heard. We're going to the world cup with 4 forwards. One of which will definitely be injured. Another is struggling with injury. The 3rd has a career total of 21 championship games scoring only 4 goals, has never played a premiership game, has never even been seen by the manager and is understudy in the Arsenal team to Robin Van ******* Persie. The 4th is Peter Crouch. It's ******* insane.
RE: I think so could you pull a world class striker out of a hat then? I am just as surprised at Bent as everyone else, but when he played for England I thought I was watching Heskey again. I'm sure Heskey did well in premiership a few times as well. It didn't make him an international though.
RE: I think We wont be going with Rooney if he is injured, Ferguson will make sure of that. That's precisely why Defoe and Johnson are on the standby list. It appears that 'Plan B' involves Crouch playing up front on his own with perhaps Joe Cole as a support striker. Therefore Sven only needs 4 strikers as Cole in included as a forward. I agree that the Walcott decision is bizarre, even more so now we learn that he's never seen him play. However, he is not likely to start and seems as exciting alternative to throw on for 20 minutes if we are struggling. We are hardly spoilt for choice with alternatives to Rooney. I'm not a huge fan of Bent and Defoe isn't first choice at Tottenham. Oh and I think Van Persie is a decent player.
Thank Sky and the Premiership English strikers not being given a chance at the highest level, and therefore we are left with having to select reserve players.
The money is irrelevant. The manager who bought him interests me more. Wenger hasn't got a bad record for spotting talent and turning them into world class players. (Francis Jeffers excluded)
Although i dont agree with his inclusion, Defoe or Bent would have been far better in my opinion. I agree with this thread, lets get behind the lad!
You haven't arrived in the Premeir unless you have won the European Cup Ask Mourinio or Wenger what cup they would like to win Between the Premeir or European Cup they would choose European Cup every time A massive club like Man'ure should have won the European Cup with the resources they have at there disposal at least 4 times in the last 20 years Ferguson has won it once.....ONCE !!! Ferguson has a poor record Arrr lass could win the Premeir League as manager of Man'ure, its not difficult is it !!! Ask fans from big European clubs what makes a great team Or even Liverpool fans Notts Forrest fans And even Aston Villa fans
RE: Thank Sky and the Premiership English players are not getting the chance and that's Sky's fault!!! I've seen them blamed for some stuff but that's a cracking one!
