    If .net comes back I'll probably use it as it had a more user friendly interface. They had better not take it down again though, it isn't fair on those of us who kept our opinions on TT to ourselves. I would welcome the opportunity to register on there like on here.

    If there is some common sense around these days....

    a pooling of resources would be a good idea. There are features here that are excellent e.g. private message box, bfc news in the margin, (whispering this one) registration.

    The original BBS was great, but I fear that certain events will continually rear their heads and persist in spoiling it for the majority. I feel sympathy for Rhys et al as they must have been through a horrible couple of months.

    BTW, I dont suppose you've got any good ideas how the children and I can convince TPTB to let us go to Barnsley on August 6th? It's the day our holiday in North Wales finishes and we have so far offered to go home a day early or go home via tarn (which included all sorts of enticements like buying her a ticket or giving her the ticket money to go shopping with. We even offered to take her to the OP!!!! So far we've had no luck at all!

    How about electing Site Admin?

    Candidates having to put forward a "manifesto" in which they can indicate their ability to do the job and their intentions as to the future of the board (whichever one is adopted as the "chosen one").

    1. Let her read Laura's story and then say she can meet the young lady in person in the OP as she(Laura) has to buy a drink for someone in your family for sending her a programme!
