Steed Malbranque not happy about stuff going round saying he has had to retire because his 4 year old son has got Cancer. He has said these are rubbish, because he aint got a son. What kind of sick people go round making stuff like that up
Some of those sick people work for football clubs it would seem http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14797327.stm
Blimey "When I opened my emails and saw the message, it was the worst day of my life, even worse than being diagnosed with cancer" Really? As far as I can see, the message was ill-conceived and in poor taste but that does seem like a slight over-reaction. The message's tone seems more ribbing than nasty to me. I guess I need to know the background of the relationship to work that one out.
Re: Blimey Reading a sarcastic e-mail or being told you had cancer. She says the former was the worst day of her life. It must have been a very upsetting phone call for her when she had to contact The Sun and tell them all about it.
Re: Blimey I thought that. The extract doesn't make any sense either - unless Brian Marwood worked at Nike with Gerry Cook. Doesn't excuse it, but there's too much doubt here - it's not as though the names are the same initial to get the emails mixed up etc.
