... especially when they're right outside the window of the bedroom I'm trying to sleep in.
.... and they obviously think I'm not in.
I'm too embarassed to go outside now. I just hope they leave before 3pm, because there's gonna be a lot of red faces around.

Too embarrassing. You'll have to guess or I'll tell you tomorrow.

What's the point

Of posting something, then not telling us what it is?

Why not just post nothing at all, or just post that the builders are keeping you awake?

Anyway I guess it is about shagging.

I know I'm only a young 'un, but I've found women ALWAYS do that

Just the other day I was told that (the girl) was less confused about a certain situation, but won't tell me how/why etc, and so I have the fun job of guessing!

Bloody confusing women!

There are several good reasons

1. It keeps you guessing
2. I'm a woman - that's what we do.
3. It is embarrassing and probably I shouldn't have posted it in hindsight...was still in shock!
4. I've just done it as a late entry to how to create a longest thread competition
5. It's better than talking about "striking teachers" or "Is there a God"

Did the builders wake you up too or have you just got out of the wrong side of bed this morning?! :D

I'm suspecting it had something to do with "out with it"!

Spot On

Sometimes they do it without actually saying anything at all. They use a complex system of facial expressions, eye movements, frowns, grimaces, moods, indifference and apparent boredom to get across a simple message such as "You've forgot my birthday"

Once the guy realises something is up, he typically asks "What's up love?"

The reply? "Nowt! NOWT, I SAID! Now leave me alone"

This obviously means "It's all your fault and if your daft enough not to realise what you've done then I'm not telling you you will have to work it out for yourself"

After many years of extensive research I have learned to recognise the signs, but only after it is too late to do anything about it.

RE: Spot On

I've always found I'm quite at recognising when something is up, like you say, but I'm buggered if I know why!

'If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you' must be one of the most annoying things you can hear!

Whilst men on the other hand

* Think that they can somehow twist the fact that they have forgotton a birthday/ anniversary into being the fault of the woman, usually hidden in some kind of "pressure at work" message.

oh and they also think it's fine to openly discuss, nay shout in the middle of the street who they'd like to take to bed, and why, and what they think she's be good at - and how they arrived at that conclusion.

There I've said it.

Was it . . .

. . . the role of NATO in the Cuban missile crisis?

Just a guess, like.
