    He is a defender.</p>

    He is playing at Premiership standard.</p>

    He is experienced.</p>

    He is respected.</p>

    He could want to move into coaching and if so BFC could be a good starter club.</p>

    He has played for us before.</p>

    He is the &quot;old head&quot; we need at the back who could lead the team and breed much needed confidence.</p>

    I believe he would compliment Ritchie / Holden.</p>

    Lets face it we can't afford kids wages, never mind Prem Lg.

    I think he's at the age that he'll accept he ain't going to live forever in the Prem, hence he'll be expecting a cut soon.</p>

    I think he's the missing piece - even on a short term contract ....</p>

    It's a good shout. Still can't see it though. The only way would be a loan (nothing in that for Wigan). Would be great to hear the Ponty singing his name again.

    Isn't he one of Wigan's best players and captain, playing in the Premiership.

    He must be desperate to give that up for a Championship survival struggle in front of 10 thou.

    where's yer logic?

    It's like saying Michael Parkinson might pack in his chat show on prime time for a weekly column in't Chronicle just cos he has some connection with TARN (c) Nudger.

    Arjan / Parky no desire to drop.

    BFC / Chronicle can't afford.

    Please explain?
