John Sheridan of Plymouth Argyle. He was stood with Wilson, Mansford and Mellon for the whole game.

Make of that what you will.

Were they saying what Phil was thinking?

Trying to persuade Mellon to go to Plymouth?

That's odd because I saw Wilson and Mellon disappear at half time - did they come back? And I saw Mansford APPEAR towards the end of the game. Didn't see the aforementioned, or Sheridan, standing with him.

Ollie Banks in negotiation and visiting facilities (with his current manager John Sheridan)?

Hm, we could swap Banks for Tutu. He just strolled around today looking a bit disinterested so if he was trying to impress Sheridan it won't have worked. What was even odder was that he was wearing the number 4 shirt but his number 23 shorts. Are they custom made for him or something?

    Ollie Banks plays for Chesterfield.

Correct! Pardon my ignorance on that subject. I followed up the previous posting without engaging brain first.
Be interesting to get Banger's son here - if he is half the player his Dad was then it would be well worth seeing. He might consider mighty Chesterfield to be a better bet than us though

We could be in the same division next season.

Yep...I'm thinking Shez is still there as Manager.

Am I right in saying that Ollie Banks is getting some rave reviews?

Next time I see his father in Ladbrokes......I'll check progress!

Both Wilson and Mellon came back for the second half. Mansford was there from kick off right up until half time, then re-appeared towards the end. John Sheridan was wearing a big Plymouth coat and never left Wilson's side.
