There was a story on the talking wireless set last week...

... about a miner in Stafford that was killed in an explosion. This was about 120 to 150 years back. Thing is, he had an orange in his snap tin and this was found and subsequently preserved. I think it went on sale at auction recently - all black and wrinkled.
Have to say I felt sorry for the old miner. All that hard work in inhospitable surroundings, gets blown up and all they find is his lunch box - no doubt with a boot lace running through his Japs eye.
