I'm not having the attitude that the players didn't try or anything of the sort. They did, however, look absolutely exhausted. I feared it before the game. Couple that with Steele having a nightmare and 2 red cards and you're going to be on the end of a hiding.

Not going to get into too much of a report of it, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. My brother is insistent Dawson shouldn't have been sent off - I thought it was a red, going to have to see it again. Realising it was Kermorgant who is renowned as a cheat made me doubt myself slightly.

It's going to be seriously hard to pick up after that - Foster and Wiseman both looked crocked, we were playing with 7 men effectively at the end. Perkins is understandably exhausted, and we're now without Dawson and Etuhu.

I fear the worst now but I'm certainly not giving up hope.

Disagree with your brother but agree with you about everything else.

Unfortunately I think the injuries and suspensions we picked up today have killed us. That and the fact that Perkins is dead on his feet and desperately needs a rest.

Flicker said in his programme notes the scheduling of the Cardiff game was madness after the busy Easter period and a long away trip to south London. These hard earned points on the road have taken their toll and we unfortunately had to witness the fall out to all that effort today. I'm not going to criticise any of the players, that was the same defence who made Leicester look very ordinary only two weeks ago. We just didn't have those reserves today that we have relied upon to make us competitive against supposedly better teams.

I was flush on with the Dawson challenge (in the upper east posh seats no-one ever sits in) - yes it was a foul, possibly a borderline booking, but never a sending off. I was so baffled by that, I first thought I'd missed something as Perkins seemed to be heading off. I missed the second one as I was already downstairs trying to persuade them to open the bar in the exec lounge.
