Sadly, those on the dole are there for a reason ie they are not as good as those not on the dole. Im worried that if we are prepared to let the likes of Kay and Austin go - who iould always give 100% - we might start signing foreign big time Charlies (Bruma?) who may well not have the same sort of fight if we struggle again.

    Being Barnsley born and bred

As Kay is he probably has more commitment that some Dutch Player who has no affinity to the Reds.

Like Arjan De Zeeuw for instance?

Being Barnsley born and bred is not a good reason to keep a player not good enough.

Our defence conceded 85 goals last season. The problem needs to be adressed and if it takes bringing in players from umbongo umbongo land to solve it I dont give a flying monkeys cuss

    When Arjan played for us

we were shipping goals aplenty. Difference was we always thought we could out score the opposition, different in the Premiership tho`, even then it didnt stop us trying for a while. :$ :$

    Shipping goals..

Only really in the prem season.

Promotion season and the return season in Championship Goals against tally was pretty respectable.

Is Kay comparable to De Zeeuw?

Is coming from Barnsley a reason to keep a player?
