Please folks do not be fooled into thinking Jase gives a flying fook about us. As soon as he gets a chance or a better offer he will be off. He has no affinity to the reds whatsoever and this is a stepping stone in his career. In fact I bet he wished he never stepped thru the door tbh. You may disagree but mark my words this is true and will be proved so. Hth
Bit random, Mr Reev. If you were offered a better job would you take it? Or would your loyalty to your present employers prevent you from bettering your present situation? And if everyone followed your 'loyalty' principle, would we have Lee Johnson now? And BTW, how did the afternoon out on the lash go?
Just like all the players at the club we don't go up this season and a championship club comes in for one of our better players they're gone. End of the day it's their job and are in it to make as much money as they can in the short time they have.
Fao Mr kaht. Backed first winner and that were that tbh. Smallish loss on the day but intend to get the lot back and more by backing the reds tomoz. Hth
The Reds are value tomorrow, Mr Reev, so I endorse that strategy! (They're not 'certs' though!) I had first winner and some split stakes on Killultagh Vic. Silviniaco Conti was disappointing - c'est la vie!
We've employed him to run the business, not become a Barnsley fan. Although I dare say, because of the nature of the business and the fact that his success will ultimately be judged by the performances on the field, he actually has become a Barnsley fan. He certainly wants us to win at any rate. And maybe, what with him being a human being and that, he's warmed to us a bit on a personal level too. Although I would imagine we infuriate him on a regular basis as well. He probably will move if he gets a better offer from elsewhere, just as most people would in whatever line of work they are involved in. But that doesn't mean he isn't trying his best right now, for us. Whether you consider his best to be good enough is a different matter and one of personal opinion, but to claim he doesn't care about the job he's been entrusted to do is quite simply false. He cares a lot and he's putting his heart and soul in to it, which is immediately obvious from the time he dedicates to the job. We used to complain that we never heard anything from the club. If anything, since Ben has taken over, we're hearing too much from them and it's started to get to the stage where some people wish he'd shut up for a minute. You don't get that from someone who isn't dedicated to the cause. The fact that he would take another position if one was offered doesn't change that. It would actually highlight how dedicated he is. Another club won't offer our CEO a better paid position if he's not proving his worth to us.
thereev was very impressed with him initially, less so now as a lot of his talk seems just to be hot air....changed his tune more times than Hallam FM. However I don't envy his position whatsoever....he will never please everyone if the Bbs is anything to go by. The ******** Ben business is harsh but he has been here a while now and his time to deliver is approaching to disprove his ******** Ben tag. Hth
