And no doubt folk will moan about it, personally I don't care whether there's one thread with hundreds of entries or loads of threads. The point is, how many on here actually have a reason he should stay in position? Sod the polls, someone will probably create one, so I want to keep it simple - if anybody can suggest a solid and credible reason that he should still be in the employ of the club, comment below. I can think of no reason whatsoever other than the board being too stubborn to admit they ****** up
I agree with you mate. I think he should have gone a month ago. However, I would guess that one argument that could be used in LJ's favour, is that he said he needed three transfer windows, and he's only had one so far.
Because fans don't run the club. The Chairman has said he's going nowhere. He's backed him in the transfer market. We lost 8 in a row and he still didn't pull the trigger. No matter how many moan on here he is staying in the job unless he walks. Which won't happen.
And he did such a bad job with it that I wouldn't let him near another one. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
The more threads the better, we need the board to see that the majority have lost faith in LeeJay, apart from the odd happy clapper and the members of the secret society. Sent from mi bloody iPhone
Every performance at home since we beat gillingham in September has gone the same way, bar a 95th minute equaliser vs the blunts. Promising first five minutes, concede from oppositions first couple of attacks, heads go down and it turns insipid and lifeless. Every home game. Never mind transfer windows, it's performances like today that he's failed to address. No amount of transfer windows will make a difference to that.
The fans don't run the club but it is meant to be a fan who is running it. They have seen all we have seen. There is not one football or business reason to keep him. The dwindling gates offset any saving made by not paying him off. A new manager would increase hate numbers initially and long term if there's any kind of success. I don't get it. I accept what you say about it not being up to us - what I don't get is whatever the reason being used by those in power is. It's baffling.
With the rubbish that he has brought in so far does he want two more windows to saddle us with more of the same crap,he will never be good enough
I'll try: 1 loss in 4 Money it would cost to get rid We're in the JPT area final You can't legislate for **** ups like their second goal Signed Hammill Sacking managers in the past hasn't worked
1 loss in 4 - or two wins in thirteen league games. Money it would cost to get rid - less than the loss in revenue for dropping to league two We're in the JPT area final - so are fleetwood You can't legislate for **** ups like their second goal - these **** ups keep happening to players he signed in the teams he picks Signed Hammill - and got a result or two off the back of it, yet still has no clue Sacking managers in the past hasn't worked - appointing useless folk in the first place hasn't worked either. Sacking Paul hart worked out ok. I'd back a manager if he had shown any kind of aptitude. To me on the odd occasion we haven't lost it looks like we get results in spite of him not because of him. Think that covers my responses to those. Sorry I don't see any of those as credible
They're facts, not a load of 'ballax'. The OP asked for reasons as to why the board might want to keep him. I'm not saying there aren't plenty more reasons why we should get rid. I do get that after a loss any form of debate like isn't allowed though. Post after post calling for LJ's head is a much more interesting read.
I think if attendance fell below 5 thousand he would go, people need to vote with their feet and stay away from home games, then there would be some action.
