Saying something like, 'lets leave the past in the past, its time to be united'. Ironic from a club which makes every decision based on its former glory.
you mean like every club does, on its former glory any club with even the smallest degree of success always seems to puts all its eggs in one basket based on those former glories .... yes even us. Even more so the two massives down the road.
Re: you mean like every club does, on its former glory Leeds are about the worst club for living in the past though. A lot of their fans still list Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea as their main rivals. Deluded and arrogant.
Re: you mean like every club does, on its former glory bet Its not as good as the welcome to Sheffield sign
Re: you mean like every club does, on its former glory Billboard into Sheffield reads...Abandon all hope ye who enters here.
Re: you mean like every club does, on its former glory I think there's worse than Leeds for that. At Least Leeds were great once, it annoys me more when you have teams who have been in the Prem for ten years who think they have a divine right to the top two Championship places every year because they once signed players for £7m and beat Man Utd and Arsenal sometime in the 1990's (most of the Midlands and Sheffield Wed!). One thing about Leeds and their rivalries, Man Utd fans always sing about Leeds, something I've picked up on when they're on TV. Suppose that feeds Leeds fans' egos!
