THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN MISS IT!!!

    thats mad. Life before work.

You would regret it. At least make it absolutely clear that you would be making a big sacrifice! Is your boss a Leeds supporter or something?

I would have had the same situation had the game been on a Saturday.

Open Day at work. Only two of us in my section. When I told them there was a possibility that I wasn't going to Wembley because of the clash with our Open Day, they said I had better not turn up for work and that I couldn't possibly miss an event which I may never get to see again. I had the same situation with a previous employer for the Cardiff play off game. I told them it was Cardiff or Goodbye, so they arrange a shift swap. I would have quit too. My present job is the best I have ever had and I do get looked after. So if forced to I would have worked and missed Wembley.

If my employer had asked me to work

I would not have stopped laughing at them yet.

I almost had the same situation today

my boss wants me in Sweden at 8.30am on the 7th. After a few hours of heated "good natured" debate he came round to my way of thinking.
