Unless the takeover happens - which seems increasingly unlikely day after day, we will still be owned by a man who doesn't want anything to do with owning or running a football club, and will not, cannot to be fair, finance it any more. So we can't afford to sack anybody. Sack hill and any money we have for players on loan or in January, which won't be much, would be eaten up by having to pay him, and flicker, and whoever else the rest of their contract. We probably couldn't even afford to do it at all. So stop whinging, start supporting because as far as I can see we aren't adrift at the bottom of the league, we've got a true goal scorer coming back into the side on Saturday, and as soon as keef dares to drop wiseman we actually have a decent looking team in prospect. Unless anybody won euro millions last night...
Davies is a player who can make himself a goal and its a good job because he is going to get very few opportunites if we carry on producing little for forwards to feed off. He will have a dip from anywhere though rather than pass an opportunity sideways so that may improve shot count on and off target and hopefully goal tally.
