Watched the first half on streaming. Even against this class of opposition (and with all due respect to Altrincham) the build up was ponderous. If Lee has a valid plan, then quite clearly the players are not buying in to it. That's it really. He might be a good manager in time, but for where we are he has no answers. God knows where we go from here.
The truth is unpalatable, and we have sacked too many managers. But It's beyond dispute that Lee, at this moment in time, isn't working. His squad (whoever is to blame for that) is dysfunctional. We've played this hand and it's failed. They can grasp the nettle now, or store up more pain for later, but this regime is dead in the water. If anyone but the manager has identified transfer targets, they need to ditch that and leave it to a professional. And money spent on the next manager - even at the expense of players - will be money more wisely invested.
If Stones does go in January and we get a big windfall, do u trust this current regime to spend it wisely? cos i dont, id rather Cryne took the money, sell the club for a quid to someone who has a clue how to....
Fook all orsen, absolutely fook all. Whatever Johnson is trying to do with these players it's clearly not working, not even close to working, it's getting worse.
