In any situation like this you get an element of lawlessness and mob rule - looting of grocery stores I can understand, if you are in the situation where you don't have food or water and theres nowhere or no means to buy it then what would you do - you'd be breaking into the supermarket to get some, it's the other side of the looting that gets me where I've heard of jewellery stores etc looted.

 

well from what I have seen on the news, most of the yanks have been nicking clothes, jewellary etc

 

Look if you've lost your house then you have no clothes, so you have to go get some from somewhere. And as we all know you just have to accessorize with a new watch or bracelet for the missus.
