I must get one a fortnight. I wish comebody would nail the Barstewards.
From ebay supposedly, with all the logos and everything. It's a pity they can't spell "capital" or "which", and of course the fact that no professional organisation would use the expression "or else". - Oh, and the fact that I do not operate an ebay account from that email address. Apart from that it could be fairly convincing.

<><>"We are contacting you to remind you that on 14 JUN 2006 we identified some unusual activity in your account coming from a foreign IP address :capitol.guatemala-203-pc.in ( IP address located in India ) . Weve had a few of them, i always delete em but on thursday my wife replied to it, i went crazy but she said she had to put in her e bay info to get into the site, is it really a fraud?, if so we had better sort it out quickly
I got one yesterday exactly the same, all i do is bounce to sender, and guess what the email was bounce+OM_2282874731@mail.classmates.com and not Ebay.

I have reported them to ebay who have confirmed they are fraud and not to reply.
But they use all ebay's logos, and i'm surprised they don't have 'em tracked down and sorted. Surely there must be clues to who and where they are.

Hacking into Paypal accounts.... In a similar vein i've had problems with my Paypal account - some twit from Romania had tried to access into it on three occasions and i was asked if i'd been to Romania or had any transactions related to that country. Apparently, it's Romania and Nigeria that is the worst countries in relation to fraud on the internet.
RE: how do we change our password??? Go to My Ebay, then on the left hand side you will see My Account and Personal Information. Click on that.
