There every where, now I quit about 7 years ago,

But for the smokers do they work? Are they better than normal cigs so to speak ?

Heard you get them in many flavours

imperial tobacco have bought two of the biggest producers of e-cigs,ready for when regulation comes into force regarding their sale. Most at the moment(especially those bought from the internet)are unregulated and consumers are unaware as to what they are inhaling.

Worked for me. I smoked about 10 a day. Started on the e cigs 2 years ago and haven't touched a real one since. I'm on the menthol ones, dot cotton style. Didn't like the cig flavoured ones. Costs me about £25 a month. However I expect the price to increase significantly once the regs come in.

I don't know anyone else they have worked for and they haven't helped me stop the nicotine. So if turns out they are really bad for you. I'm goosed.

    Yes.

Smoked for 20 years. Cutters choice roll ups. Had about 20 a day.

Started with one of these on 25th sept. Not had a *** since.

Currently vaping on cheesecake and chocolate. Tried allsorts. Strengths flavours and mixes (pg/vg). And just settled on the strength and mix amd a couple of flavours. Now going to expand on flavours and try different stuff.

On the other side. If these arseholes from Brussels or our government start Pissing about and tax them to buggery then I shall simply start smoking again. And id rather stick with what I have now. But of course they don't like it cos they're not getting the tax. (In fact they had no tax out of me for years anyway. As it is handy when you have Spanish relatives)

Do some research dont just buy one. If you need info giz a shout and I'll send you the sites where I learned it all.

Edit. Sorry realised you already quit after typing all this out

Mrs Burgundy Red uses them. And nicotine gum. And cigarettes.

funny for me that this subject has just come up now as I have got one on order. I am a smoker, 15 a day roughly, and have been for 27 years. I want to stop for health reasons, but at the same time I don't really as I find the act of smoking quite enjoyable at the right time, if you know what I mean (probably not, unless you've smoked yourself). So as a next best, I am looking to cut out as much of the crap that I am inhaling with real cigs.

I have tried e-cigs, the ones that look like real ones. The problem I found is that, whilst they are OK, of sorts, they weren't really strong enough to properly replace cigs for me - the issue is that you can't see the contents of the cartridge that goes on the end so you don't know whether there is anything left until you realise that it is doing nowt for you, and then you end up having a real one.

The one I am switching to now is one of the bigger ones (some would say proper vapourisers) that look more like pens. I have been told by quite a few that they are much better. It's been delivered, but I wasn't in so I pick it up from the PO tomorrow. Time will tell......:)

If they help me to cut out the real cigs, then I am happy to stick with their use for the forseeable, without any thought of trying to cut out the nicotine. Then slowly take it from there. But I need to try something because I just don't feel like I have the willpower otherwise - whilst I know that it is time to do something about my smoking now after such a long time, the thought of just cutting them out terrifies me.

There's a shop near Asda at Worsbrough and that's all they sell - you can try everything before you buy.
