    I guess their agents would always ask for a bit more to see what they can get...

    So, I wonder what's to talk about?

    I would imagine so the original offers were rejected.

    Ozzie's position (in particular) is not a strong one, bearing in mind Reid & Hassell have already signed up. I imagine his agent is trying to use the Southampton "offer" as leverage.

    As for Antny, this seems to be the only firm offer he has at the moment. I wonder what his bargaining position is? Maybe on holiday or stalling for time.

    Another defender appears to be on the way, which doesn't exactly help either of them.

    we'd all do the same

    boss offers you a new contract , theres 92 other companies you could go and work for , makes sense to hold on for the best offer

    unless you love the reds and will play for them for free as im sure we all would !!
