call me sentimental but......

Any team that came into the League after the demise of Accrington Stanley, well, they are just pretenders.

And when Accrington Stanley get back into the League, a small number of people will have the ultimate sports-supporting experience.

Think of the Bradford match, the playoff final, the socceroos beating uruguay, the rumble in the jungle.... this will be nothing compared to what the 'few' will be feeling.....

Urm, Urm, Urm, Urm.....no I haven't got a clue what you just said there Mick. Too much VB by the looks of it!!

WTF have Accrington Stanley got to do with Rushden apart from them going up and Rushden getting relegated?

Accrington were hoofed out of the league in the early 60's.

Just imagine if it was Barnsley doing the same, like seeing the Titanic raising from the murky depths of the Atlantic. Go Accrington!
