Wouldn't surprise me. The source is a load of b*llocks, but he's not been in the squad recently, and he's out of contract in the summer. We'll cash in, which is understandable on this occasion. He's no worse than Wilks, but he's had plenty of opportunity, and still flatters to deceive.
He holds the ball up better than Wilks the opposition have to run around his large posterior to get to the ball.
The occasional brilliant touch and world class goal doesn’t really make up for a consistent lack of both effort and fitness. Get rid, but don’t give him away.
Probably should’ve cashed in during the summer after he’d had a decent season in league 1. Decent as in he’d scored a couple of worldies.
If he was the only one to leave in January, I'd be OK with that. I don't think he fits our style of play. In a lower intensity French league he could fit in well. He's provided some good moments in his time here, but they have been just that. If we are going to put up a fight to stay up I don't really see him figuring much.
He s scored some great goals for us and can make defenders lives difficult. I wouldnt say good riddance but if hes not going to get a game with us then its better for him to leave
He's just a poor footballer at this level. You would think knowing your own limitations you would at least get yourself fit .
I can't believe people rate this guy. He had probably 6 good games last season against much weaker opposition but based on what little I've seen of him this season he is nowhere near good enough. Fitness wise he is a disgrace. The sooner he's packed his bags and gone the better.
Some harsh replies in this thread. I like thiam but he just isn’t quite consistent enough. Think he would be a right player if he could get in better shape
