This is us now. Without a big investment, any player who plays well for two months will move on to a better off club and I don't completely believe it's All keith's fault. Butters, drinkwater, Vaz te, Shackell, Howard, boggy, mcindoe, muller, Hamill.... ....I mean, what is the point and where is the hope???
The only hope is that this bunch of tossers masquerading as our board do the decent thing and walk away from the club. I sincerely believe that no one could do any worse than the muppets in charge at the minute!
One of the 'tossers' has been funding the club for the last six years in the championship. I estimate he's put in about 12-15 m in that period. How will you plug that gap? I think he deserves a bit more respect.
Unfortunately, you cannot continue to respect someone who is slowly but surely grinding this club into the ground. It was extremely admirable of him to put the money in all those years back but if he's such an astute businessman then why oh why did he put an ex lower league director in charge with what seems no business acumen whatsoever in DR. Pats on the back only last so long in any walk of life, no pun intended.
Because when you employ someone from a lower league, you can control them as much as you like and let them take all the ****. Just an opinion like
I'm an accountant and downloaded the accounts every year since of got involved. I have reported the results on this website every year. Other posters will confirm that I do this and I don't comment except as to how the figures have moved. Ridsdale *****ed about £4m before Sheph got involved. In addition to this he also guarantees the overdraft to the tune of 2m
But has he put that amount of money into that club? And what is said asset worth? Plus he could have saved himself a mint by making sure he got it instead of Doyle. But he did'nt. Strange that.
Its all very nice saying we are running at a profit, its the entertainment business ffs! No entertainment will mean no further profit and then a deficit and then we will be properly on our arse!! Get forward thinking, proper businessmen in at the top before its too late!!
Where's the evidence that Cryne has put that much money into the Club? Were's the evidence he's made losses? Loans to the Club maybe, that's what usually happens. Just look at Donny all the directors made loans to the Club which are repayable. It was the same at Wednesday. Directors making loans that the banks wouldn't.
In the accounts and whilst pc initially loaned money to the clubs those loans were written off, became nonrepayable and were added to the clubs reserves. You can say I know f all about tactics etc but t he financial side is my field
He could have saved around £6 million had he got the club instead of Doyle. What is the asset worth, what is wrong with asking that?
You said has he put that money into the club? I think we have discussed this at length. As for the £6m have you a breakdown of that figure Finally if the asset you refer to is the ground it is worth fck all unless you bulldoze the ground
Doyle borrowed £6 million from Sterling immediately upon "buying" the club. Which was repayable within 12 months. Cryne got on a plane to New York instead of making the deal happen. And according to Dennis's book, coudl have prevented admin. i said has be put 12-15 into the club? Not OCA?
