    No, I don't think he would try and sue a fan for comments made on here, claiming they impacted season tickets.

    Why dont they just flood over to fleetwood. not only would it leave the stadium empty, the oystons would be able to see where their money is moving to.

    I dint think pat cryne would do anything like that or what oysten has done at blackpool in the past years. We are lucky to have pat cryne.

    Can't see them going to support a rival. But the way Dave Challinor has Fylde playing they could go watch them. Could be in the football league in a few seasons with their ambitious chairman.

    I don't think for a minute he would run the club in to the dirt either, but the club has been asset stripped. On 3 October 2002 Barnsley FC entered administration with debts of less than £1 million. The club owned the stadium, the academy complex and, I believe, more land than any other football club in the country. 12 months later the club owned nothing, and still doesn't, other than the contracts of the players. The club now pays rent to play at the stadium it owned for more than a hundred years and spent £millions developing. It was probably the biggest and most successful asset stripping of any football club there has ever been.
