Not been down there tonight but having read a few things and listened to sky sports news today it seems that Barnsley held the game. ''Millwall played like a away team'' was what the reporter said. Now we get a clean sheet at half time and missed a chance that sounds like he should have put it away. The formation sound about right and its a formation i would have in mind when choosing a new manager. I would look at a manager like they've got in at middlesbrough, a foreign manager who's confident in playing a passing style which will suit our team. Theres NO point in choosing a new manager that can't work with this squad. We've got players in like Perkins Mellis Digby McCourt cywka Pedersen Jennings RNL. All decent on the ball and we should be looking to get as many of them players in as possible.
You choose a formation and then choose a manager to work to that formation? Well **** me that's a bit special. I also like your particularly racist comment that you want a foreign manager.
Have you been sniffing the glue on your pannini stickers again phil? Struggling to make any sense of most of that
Karanka didn't play his footballers today. He went with his cloggers in midfield. They were gash. They lost, to a gash Leeds.
Is our strength Running around all day or picking brilliiant passes?E.G Perkins,Dawson,Etuhu,O`Brien, Pedersen, Dagnall.
The issue is that the game is 90 mins. The manager doesn't know how to win games, our play is painfully slow and predictable. We never get enough people in the box so we don't score enough goals. Then we persist with plodders in the middle of the park that don't hurt the opposition. We are L1 bound, it is as simple as that.
I know you will be fistrated Redstar having made your way down to london today. But you know yourself that we weren't the team people are making out last season. We were tough to beat but we didn't play the most amazing style either and things went for us. You will know better than me about this chance for Mellis but it seems this season we aren't getting that bit of luck and putting chances away when we did last season.
We were effective. We got results. We also entertained. It was a good chance but if your entire ethos is to hope for one chance and you miss it you are screwed.
Can't you get fistrated back home? Seems a long way to come and it'll be dearer, like everything else tut.
never went anywhere me ,it was you who ran off and as of this afternoon as far as I'm concerned you are fair game pal!
When you don't put chances away in one game it can be put down to luck. When you are second bottom after 1/3 of a season of ***** then being out of luck is not the cause.
