Our pre match entertainment consisted of playing liverpool's anthem and sheffield united's anthem back to back. Why? What reason is there for playing a local rival's anthem before OUR home game?
What is the point in having a load of TV's if they are all going to be showing a blue screen?
The bar in the East stand was its usual crap self. Poor service, poor selection, too expensive and aart from anything else it looks fecking scruffy.
Poor stewerding/policing at the end.
Player of the season award was once again done pretty crap. It is about time that something other than a table was used to give out the trophy.
Our strikers couldnt hit a barn door. They couldnt even hit the bar.

I would hope that close season Mr Shepherd looked into the facilities at oakwell And has a good look to see where additional money can be made on match days. Hopefully then he will see that a refit of the bars (and installation of additional ones in the ponty) would be very profitable.
The 'club shop' in the east stand would get a redesign or would be moved to the much larger position occupied by the betting stand which could easily be fitted in the much smaller club shop area.
The TV's would be utilised much better.
Refreshment stands would have a simple queuing system installed.
The turnstyles would be re-ordered slightly so that the family stand people enter at that end of the ground.
Just a few simple ideas that would improve the experience.

RE: I would hope that close season Mr Shepherd looked into the facilities at oakwell the reason they played those songs eg walk alone was to re-create a bit of the atmosphere of playing bradford 9yrs ago to win promotion and when we in the premiership, but as in recent weeks our fans didnt really respond.
9 years ago we only played liverpools song after the game when people were already happy. We have played the same song many times since and nobody has ever joined in because it is embarrassing
tom hawk I t is sheffield united's music and was played straight after liverpools. I was half expecting hi ho silver lining to play next
That would be Tom Hark by The Piranhas Used to play it down at Oakwell in the early eighties long before anyone else adopted it.
oops yeah, tom hark I knew what I meant.
We may have palyed it 20 odd years ago but it has been adopted for some time as the themetune of sheffield united and is recognised by their fans as their own.
Shouldnt have been played in my opinion but then i wouldnt have played the same tired old tape of status quo etc either.
