Things that baffle me at Oakwell .........other than ticket sales ...

1) why do we play Hassell in midfield doing 'Togwells job' when Togwell is also available?
2) why do we 'waste' a subs shirt on Togwell when he clearly is never going to play?
3) why can't Devaney cross a ball (Liverpool apart - fluke?) or beat a man, when he's 'a winger'?
4) why can't Christenson have a go when KO, IF and MM can't hit a cows arse with a banjo?
5) why do we only have one ball available, even when it disappears up Monk Bretton for 5 mins?
6) why do we run out of pies before half time, even when it's the lowest gate of the season?
7) why do we play the cheeky girls song when the rest of the world forgot them 5 mins after their first appearance?

There's many more but I'm bored now

 

Also....

Why do we put random photos of people holding the FA cup in the programme?

becuase there was trouble in a couple of games while we were lower league so SYp have dedicated a sizeable budget to the football. As every loon in town is seemingly banned these days they have to pretend that there maybe potential trouble to justify the over time.
Hence next fridays Chronicle you'll see some 14 year old kid wanted for giving a v sign to the away end so buck up the short fall in figures. Can you not remember the swansea game the other season? 287 away fans 400+ Riot bobbies.

Why they persist in having the clock counting down, so we can't keep track of injury time.

why ban smoking in a football stadium anyway...... it in the open air ffs... or does the law just apply to the concourses, cos they're enclosed......

 

The FL implemented a ban in the stadium. The law will cover the concourses. But it helps to prevent any anomolies to just declare the whole stadium non-smoking.
