    - Kpekawa is doing his best out of position but isn't very mobile.

    - Wingers don't like helping fullbacks out defensively.

    - Hourihane is a massive miss. These defensive midfielders eh Conan?

    - 100k Centre Halfs are doing their best. We have to be patient with them and hope they come good.

    - Watkins and Winnall one chance each one goal each. They look our best partnership.

    - We didn't stop running and trying.

Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say you were beaten by a better team. Parachute payments killing us again, we just have to do our best.

    Things we've learned today:

Many of our fans know jack **** about football. The number of people I heard today saying Scott Parker was **** and did nothing....Jesus - nothing except run the game.

Of course not. I mean the two 'defensive' midfielders we had playing for us were overrun by Fulham. Not blaming anyone, just an observation.

I agree with most of this but we got £6.5 mill for Mawson. Why are we relying on a £100k centre half?

Mcdonald wasnt the worst player on the pitch today by a long shot so very harsh picking him out for critism. Mawon, kevin long whoever in his position and we would have still been beaten.

Centre backs done brilliant today imo.
Can't defend all on their own especially when midfield go AWOL most of game and from constantly giving ball away every opportunity.

Reading that back I am being unduly half on Mcdonald and Roberts. Not meant as a criticism on them, or anyone really. They're only doing their best - they've only played 15 Championship games between them.

And I agree that they didn't have much protection from the midfield either.

Hopefully we learned that some of the 17-18 million approx we've made recently from promotion, Stones and Mawson needs to be spent on bringing in a few experienced older heads in come January to help along our younger players of potential.

Plenty of negatives but the one positive is that Winnall & Watkins proved they still have a quality partnership & until Bradshaw & Armstrong prove otherwise they should play up front together for me

Only positive for me Was that the forward conundrum is solved our best partnership is Watkins and Winnall. The rest of the team throughout were poor/average.
