    I know the answer to that one!

    I'd noticed in Asda that the bags of unshelled mixed nuts didn't have any Brazil nuts so thought I'd wait til I could get some.
    Then when we were Christmas shopping in Meadowhall we went to the health food store there and they didn't have any either - bought a bag of mixed nuts and commented that there weren't any Brazil nuts and the woman said that's been the case for about 3 years because they aren't allowed to import Brazil nuts in their shells into the EU because of toxins on the shells!
    So the only ones you'll find are already shelled, presumably they can shell them outside the EU and then import them in.
