    phone ringing off the hook

ring ring ring ring..... straight to voicemail..........hello mr Conway hello mr Murphy it’s the supporters of Barnsley fc here ? Just a quick message to ask if you will please turn the light on and stop keeping us in the dark and having us for chimpanzees.

We play this Saturday and tomorrow is Wednesday just a little message to ask if there is any official explanations about the last transfer window and is there an update on getting any free agents in and what your plans / directions of our club is.

Is it true we are in talks with Hans Offmecock who’s just been released from beerkeller fc in the Austrian 6th division. If you ignore his one leg and left eye missing our scouts who advised the club on our other signings says he could be polished into a big profit if you give him 7 years to develop, his stats on FIFA 20 are amazing.

We look forward to hearing from you in the summer when the season ticket renewals drop through the door just a few days before you asset strip our remaining best players sell them for peanuts and sign players again who are out of their depth.

Will the season ticket money be spent on major improvements off the pitch again like this season ? Those new hand dryers in the east stand I’m sure will attract many armchair supporters to the club and now the colour tv’s work on the concourse I reckon new applications will get the tolls ringing big style.

yours sincerely......The wonderful fans of BFC (aka in the board meetings SAPS)

It's ages since I saw a white dog turd. I've seen a few dried ones that have gone a bit white.

Thankfully many dog owners pick it up before it dries out like you used to see 30-odd years ago. Still not all though....

I love those people who bag it it up and tie it to hedges for the **** fairy to get rid of.

I believe a lot of it is to do with improvements in diet and the many supplements/ treats you
can buy for your dogs now.

I was told it's because they don't line the tins anymore with talc or calcium but don't know if it's correct.

Thought it was because they used a lot of bone meal as filler in the dog food back then? Lots of calcium

The only place you could see white dog turds was on Farrar Street in the sixties.

They were among the first proper football astroturf trainers in the 80's. After months of begging and nagging, Santa brought me a pair around 1984 or 1985 - my favourite ever Christmas present as a kid. Can't find any images of them online, which is a shame

I once quizzed someone about it and she said she ties it up and picks it up on her way back. Sure enough that bag of **** has been there ever since.
