    The players are not good enough that is the problem.
    Some of them are but 4-5 of them are not.

    He's said already he's not quiting and never quit anything in his life. Translation being I won't quit and give up my compo package for leaving off my own back. Honourable thing would be something like........

    Patrick i've really tried but it's just not working. I'd like to resign because it would feel wrong of me after the bad results throughout my reign, to take anymore money from this club.

    No they're not. Some of them are OK, and some of them might be good enough in a couple of years, but collectively they're not, particularly with Hourihane out of the team.

    I find it difficult to understand how we can lose 7 games in a row, being second best to utter garbage like Donny, Crewe and Fleetwood, playing a standard of football that would embarrass a junior school football coach, yet people still believe we have a good squad of players. What on earth are you watching to make you think that?

    Is this 'the players are good enough' theory used so all the blame can be heaped on Johnson?
