Bernie Ecclestone is not noted as being the most generous of people so I wouldn't expect to see that kind of investment.

Mind you, after seeing them on saturday, they need every penny of that and more by the looks of it. They were awful and will be firmly rooted in the bottom 3 on that performance.

    Not a chance imo.

Wasn't on the bench against Stoke last week - nor QPR on saturday when we dropped Feeney to play a winger (Parry) up front with MacLean.

With Fowler and JFH fit for next week, can't see him making an appearance.

Why the interest, I'm surprised you knew he was even with us.

RE: Woke up with a sore head on Sunday

:D Nice one. Put a smile on my face did that.

Apparently, he'd "worked hard all week" and was given the weekend off. He seemed quite relaxed in the photos I saw, must admit. As relaxed as a newt to be honest.

As long as he's banging them in for us, he can be on first name terms with Betty Ford as far as I'm concerned.

Those photos will appear down here as there's plenty of eggers with agendas who are only too keen to paint City in a bad light. You should see the antics of some of their "stars" - but that's portrayed as "high jinks" as it's rugger.

Yes, Briatore (sp) was approached initially but I think he's got Ecclestone involved as well.
