His form since getting back in the side has been phenomenal
Every game he has played, including the not so good ones, he has actually looked like scoring at least once
He had a steady start for us, then it got a bit rocky and he was seen as a bit of a figure of fun. But he recovered from that.

Now he has finally got the goal he has deserved all season. If this wins us the match I would give him POTY tonight!

    Seriously, though - why not?

He's been our best player last few games IMO, totally different player to how he was first half of season.

Even big Darren Moore is loving over him on radio sheff!

Because he was absolutely diabolical for most of the season and his performance against Leicester was one of the worst in a long time.

Since then he has been excellent but it's too late in the day for him to be POTY.

Not many contenders this season. But the way he has turned his around I can see why some would vote.

Not sure I would go that far but its as good a suggestion as anyone at the minute

Well I wouldn't go that far, but definitely over the past few games its been the most incredible turnaround by a player that I have ever seen at Oakwell and he's certainly becoming a favourite of mine for his full blooded commitment. Personally I think that Crainie is overrated. He's good, but makes a lot of mistakes and as the season went on Ramage was the better of the two, but as things stand I can't see how Crainie can get back into the team. Whilst the other two are playing so well together it would be daft to split them up, particularly as, worst case scenario, they'll be our back two next season, as Crainie is likely to move on.

Each to their own I expect , its your vote so you go for it.
Imo you can't look further than Steele, Cranie, O'Grady

    Calm down! Calm down!

He's scored one and now he's player of the year! Bloody Hell! Yes he's looked like scoring errrrm one against Brighton and errrrm that's about it as far as I can remember.

Can't look beyond Steele or O'Grady IMHO

You've not seen many games then? Perhaps you left early when he ran the length of the pitch to fluff it at the end of the Hudds home game. He has at least one good header every time he has played which has just whistled wide or gone over the bar. He could have had half a dozen goals to his name, and maybe more.

Had he played the whole season he would definitely be a contender, I reckon.

I've been to all the home games thanks, and I maintain he's not had that many chances. How you say heds looked like scoring in every game he's played then it's probably you who's not been to many games. Never looked like scoring against Hudds - he couldn't kick the ball straight nor run in a straight line.

Any other "chances" you care to share with us?

He's in a great run of form & long may it continue but he's nowhere near O'Grady, Cranie & Steele

I think Jennings has done about as much as Big Jean to be honest. Couple of spectacular goals yes, but not a huge contribution over the whole season.

I'm not saying I will vote for Jean but just worth considering, that's all. It's easy to pick the leading scorer, or the keeper, or the most "popular" player. But players like M'Voto deserve a shout as well. If he had played the whole season and not shown us his dodgy side a few times I think he would be out in front
