Thinking of buying a house,Where not to buy in Barnsley?

As an area for a house i would say Ardsley, As its Nice and quiet, especially the Cumberland Drive area

 

I love living in Oakwell

Bang next to Tarn,bus station, Metrodome etc no travelling to match, no taxis, near to dearne valley park, the list goes on.</p>

I love it so much so that I am moving...200yds.</p>

Not that many houses come up for sale however and the best ones are snapped up quick.</p>

Depends though what on you want and how much you have to spend!</p>

Pogmoor is good</p>

Cawthorne &amp; Silkstone expensive and isolated.</p>

Penistone good but isolated</p>

Ardsley OK but lacks amenities</p>
