After looking at some of the players we are bringing in on trial are people seriously thinking about not renewing and just picking the games they want to attend like me

What about the so called proven championship striker that we were meant to be signing to help us progress or did Davey just say that to keep his job?

With this squad another relegation battle i am afraid to say

The window has been open 4 days...

    4 days...

Players are just returning from their holidays; back to their parent clubs.

Teams all over are vying for new signings; new strikers; good deals.

    Give him time ffs.

Don't renew then peter. Its still early July and there is over a month to go. There are a lot of clubs looking to get players in and some clubs have not got back to pre season training. A lot of clubs have trailists but non of there fans go mad about them. FFs get over it these players will be at oakwell for a week or 2 and if they are any good and may improve the team they will be signed and if not they wont. Its been going on for a long time. Tommy Taylor signed as a traistest so it shows you how long this as been going on.

RE: The majority of clubs have made a start though - check dis:

11 clubs + us have not signed anyone.

3 clubs have signed one player.

So the majority is stretching it just a little bit.

    I don't think anybody knows

The club has been very secretive about how ticket sales in the past so nobody really knows. Last season they did say that sales were above the seasons before though (or something like that) but it was never clarified if 'sales' included the free child tickets or how many of those were given away.
