just can't understand what some folk want from BFC, evryone that went to the Burnley game can also go to Man u game and still be no worse off on the combined price of the two games both of which against PREM opposition, did'nt hear any complaints about £15 for burnley game. BFC (Patrick Cryne) has just incurred massive extra cost on top of what they had budgeted for in appointing Robins and getting shut of the Welsh winker and on top of this he has backed Robins in bringing all the new loan players which most will agree are turning our season around, but has to be paid for. This is an opportunity for us the fans to pay the small extra amount and help OUR club along the way, and still watch OUR team against man u at a reasonable price, i know all about the charter regarding ticket prices etc but this was not the sole decision of BFC but an agreement between the clubs. The ones out there that arn't going because of the extra fiver must be doing so on principal that you feel the club is ripping you off, well if that was me i would not be going ever again.
agree wiv everything i think 25 is a good price end of day we payin 23 to donny 30 in qpr 26 in derby exc
i sometimes wonder what makes some folk tick... I cant go to the game, our lass had prearranged to work that Tuesday night and now cant get off. That leaves me to look after the young un, I cant palm him off on anyone else for the night, nor would I want to. If the game had been Wednesday, I'd gladly have paid £25, £50, whatever. Who gives a ***** about the charter - does nobody remember where this club has been in recent years?
Can't remember who posted earlier saying "don't want to get back in prem" because of extra cost what the furkin ells that all about, init what we all dream of, just imagine we're in third spot wanting a win to go up and hoping we dont do it cos we'll go up!!!!! pratts!!!
good point Troff if we turn back the clock to the dark days of admin and almost out on our arses, if the club asked us all for a five and everything would be ok how many would? WITHOUT MOANING OVER A MEASLEY FURKIN FIVER!!
I agree with you mate. I also couldn't believe the people on here earlier on the week saying they couldn't get excited about the draw. Supporting a small club like Barnsley means that you need to enjoy the big cup ties all the more. I am 33 and I not ashamed to admit that I was as excited as a kid on Christmas morning when the draw was made last Saturday and I think anyone who can't get excited about that or are complaining about the price should consider whether or not they truely enjoy supporting the club.
RE: think yourself lucky that you can afford to nt dont know your personal details Tyrone, but if you can afford £20 then a fiver is not a lot to find, couple of pints, a bet on the nags, depends what you want the most but thats your choice to make
RE: dont be so stupid nt So is £25 beyond the absolute limit that can people can afford? Is it B*ll*cks. "I'll pay £20 or £22, I might even pay £24 but there's no way I can afford £25"
RE: dont worry about about my finances nt not worried about your finances mate, but i have genuinely been in the position where i could not go to games just due to lack of funds, kids come first etc is a fact of life and i can't fault you, but if its just about the principal of it being a fiver extra and you feel you are being ripped off then the point i was making is that iam a person that believes in standing by your principals and if i felt that way i would not be going again EVER, its obvious you love the club from the posts you have submitted in the past, ive a feeling you'll be there on the night and all the other glory nights we have to come
