I assume we have all seen this story http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7938282.stm Why pick on just chocolate - why not any sweet - we could have a sugar tax Oh and isnt too much salt bad for you maybe a salt tax as well in fact come to think of it isnt too much food in general a cause of obesity - why dont we put swinging taxes on all food so that we can only afford to eat a small amount each day - As for sitting on chairs when we could use many more calories and be fitter if we stood up all day -tax tax tax
what about go the whole hog BMI tax. You pay for your food the higher your BMI is. At each check out you get on the scales and the till decides how much you should pay for your snap based on your BMI or fat% rate. Bound to work. Also you need to have a blood alcohol test before buying booze. If you've drunk in the last day you pay more for your beer. I thinkthis could work!
But burgers and pizzas eaten on a continual basis are OK are they? Once went into a Macdonald's Restaurant (!??) and ordered a breakfast. They coffee had about 10 grains in it to give it colour, the bacon had colour, it was grey. Neither ate or drank in the place and got my money back.
That's a great idea! Honestly that would be hilarious! Woah woah fatty that's an extra tenner... But what about body builders? Obviously their BMI would be high as they're all muscular so weigh more. Although their fat% would be less... They just need to find some way to get extra revenue when the reliance on oil gets lower and lower...
When I read that I said They'll be taxing us for going for a dump next... Too late ar lass said they do that already its part of you water bill , sewerage !!! Cant win
