It's really bad around this neck of the woods. One of our local schools had 200 pupils off in one day.
What are the symptoms? Ar lasses young un wasn't feeling too good yesterday but improved today I believe as they've gone to Center Parcs til Friday
There are 2 bugs going round but they are connected. One is a flu type one - cough, cold, headache, feel very achy and tired. The cough takes ages to get rid of. The other one is Sickness and Diarrhoea. Before Christmas I was off with the Sickness one and so was half of my class (15 of us altogether). http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/4697910.stm
RE: What are the symptoms? Puking (w)omiting and wearing a Pancake Tuesday shirt. Incidentally do you think the King of Nepal should go into exile or be put on trial ?
RE: There are 2 bugs going round Aye Tom had the 2nd one before Christmas Yesterday he'd got headache and didn't want to eat (not like him at all!) But seeing as they've gone off to Center Parcs today I guess he's a lot better! Hope you are enjoying half term Laura
Keep an eye on him I started with a headache and then ended up with the sore throat, bad cough etc. and was off school for nearly two weeks. His headache could have been brought on with excitment at going away.
RE: The King of Nepal?!?! I thowt tha'd have a view on that one. I'm going there in May and it's all kicking off big style between Maoist insurgents and goverment forces.
RE: Keep an eye on him Bit difficult when I'm at home/work and he's down in Center Parcs......but he's in excellent hands as his mum's a nurse.
RE: The King of Nepal?!?! If it causes that much trouble you should cancel your visit....didn't realise they felt so strongly about Blunts! ff
RE: well I should coco !! just been on Newsneet, only 59 deaths in t' last week. Nowt that though is it ? Err don't understand yer reply.
Two kids in my young 'uns class, all rest off sick My young 'un was one of the two. Yorkshire heritage you see.
RE: What are the symptoms? It's similar to the Norwark virus. It starts with a head ache which is soon followed by severe vomitting and diarrhoea. The kids, and adults, are advised not to go back to school/work until 48 hours after the symptoms have stopped.
