http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/4796075.stm
It says that people in Cardiff spend 97% of their income on bills. So a bloke living alone on a grand a month would spend £970 on bills leaving him with £30 a month to spend on everything else?

How much of it was the credit card bill that they used to pay for meals, holidays, ebay, petrol, etc etc etc if thats the case I spend 97% of my outgoings on bills as well, as I only spend about £10 a week cash. Stupid survey.
I was going to say the same thing - it includes the credit card bill which is probably mainly used to buy luxuries.
