    Do you think Cristiano Ronaldo/Robert Pires etc etc would be the kind of players they've been if they had to stick exclusively to their touchline? Leon was a breath of fresh air today. Absolutely superb. Played FROM the left but allowed to drift around the field and was the best footballer on the pitch by a long way. You don't need your wingers to stick to their flanks. If they did, your fullbacks'd barely ever cross the halfway line. Macken held the ball up as well as ever, and took his chance when it came. Foster was excellent, Muller was heroic.</p>

    Yes it wasn't pretty but we got the 3 points that were so crucial. Yet you'd come on here and wonder whether we'd won or not. Some things never change. :D

    cant see why he isnt giving Kozluk a chance in midfield, he cant be any worse than hassell

    Totally agree about Diego. Great to see someone always looking for the ball. Could mix between short / long passes. To say was Diego's first 90 minutes will be great to see what he can do over the next month once players get use to him.
