I have raved about this book on here before, but it's a fantastic read. The novel is written from the standpoint of Cloughie during his 44 days at Leeds and makes him appear so paranoid. Anyway I was reading yesterday that its going to be made into a film with Michael Sheen playing Cloughie.
It is indeed a top read, Isnt it alternate chapters contrasting his rise and fall at Derby , to his fall and fall at Leeds?</p>
RE: It is indeed a top read, Yea... The chapters are done with flashbacks starting with the foul by Bobby Stokoe which ended his career and follows it upto the end at Derby and his Brighton jaunt. I would read anything by David Peace though.
