Sorry if I have missed it but is there any detail of what exactly is the issue and how long the stand will remain closed for? If it is ongoing and Barnsley continue their good form and push for automatic promotion with increasing crowds support can they afford to lose the sizeable capacity the East stand offers? I find it hard to believe any contingency that involves stand sharing with the likes of the Fowls supporters would be acceptable to S.Yorkshire's 'finest'.
Probably best to wait for any official statement but heard in box office this morning that remains a chance East Stand will not re-open for Plymouth. Don’t want to set hares running and it’s a fair comment to cover themselves.
It's in the statement but it should be fixed by Saturday and it was an issue with some loose cladding.
Yes.. Thanks. Somehow I missed the link to the official site on here. Off topic I know but it's been a fraught week so far as my expensive Lenovo Legion laptop was in for repair for its second replacement screen Latest one only lasted 9 months before going 'pop' only to be told after they have had it a month Lenovo has said they can't get the part. I wouldn't mind but a repair should carry a 12 month guarantee and it failed only two weeks after the original 2 year guarantee on the laptop expired. Also it is still a current model so not carrying spares in Europe is IMO unforgivable when they cannot even give any indication when the screen willbe available. Very poor from Lenovo!
Stilll not selling tickets for Plymouth game in the east stand Inspection to take place tomorrow when the work is completed . If that goes ok the stand will reopen for Plymouth game ( as per conversation with box office staff)
