Gentlemen Following on from last nights event I would just like to say it was fantastic seeing the smiles on your lads faces at our club house. Both sets of lads clearly enjoyed the occasion despite having to change venue at short notice. When I got home I had many messages on the answer machine enquiring about the game so I know we would have had a much larger turn out than we got last night if we had played at the Queens Ground. Once I recieve photographs from the South Yorkshire Times I will forward them on. We at Wath St James hope you continue to have both a enjoyable & successful tour. Your young men are a credit to you, there families and the game of football. We are now saving up for the return fixture. Hope to see you at the game on Saturday. Yours in sport Alan Rowe WSJJFC Sec
my reply..... I have heard from a few sources, now, that it was a great game and played in great spirit. The lads had a great night, as did the few travelling parents and the coaches. And it is down to you, Alan, well done, mate. I always thought that the Wath match was more important to the tour than Everton at Goodison and I'll not be moved on that. I'll talk to you again, Alan, before it's over. Mick
