    ...piece of cake eh?

My head's still sore and I can barely speak, don't know if cider counts as one of my 5-a-day, but if it does I think I'll be the healthiest bloke in Britain this morning!

Congrats for saturday btw, thought you were excellent. Tactics spot-on against quality, quality opposition and carried them out perfectly.

Anyone else can't wait for 1:25?

    How do

Looked to me like you were the Premier League club, not Middlesbrough. You battered them. Well done.

Now I'm hoping we draw you this aft.

    Europe...

....is it true that if you win the FA Cup that you won't be allowed into Europe next season ??? Something to do with UEFA rules and you not being English they were saying on Talksport this morning.

If it is true then I hope we play play you lot in the final - then you can have the FA Cup and we will settle for a place in the UEFA CUP !!

Congrats btw - excellent performance yesterday!

    Cheers Bluebird

Thought you were clearly the better side on Sunday. Hardly seemed to be troubled at all. Cracking first goal as well.

RE: After lots of umming and ahhing I've decided I want to get your lot

Lets be honest - neither of us care who we get, it's the semi finals of the FA Cup!

Given the choice though, and many of you seen to want to avoid them, I'd go for West Brom. We've played them twice at the Hawthorns this year, won 1 a drew 1 when they scored in injury time and scoring 7 goals in the process- I don't think they'll fancy us tbh.

Just want to avoid Barnsley, they seem to be the form team in the cup :D

We'll save that for the final eh?

That's it then - Who needs Bryan Robson to make the draw?

    Cardiff V W.B.A

    Barnsley V Portsmouth

You beat WBA, we knock yet another Premiership side out and then we meet in the Final

    Sorted!
    :D

    RE: Europe...

Ta very much, same to yourselves for saturday. Millionaire footballers pah!

Yes it is true about Europe. The FA propose their representatives for european competitions and since we are not members of the FA, they're unlikely to forward us as their representatives are they?

We are governed by the FAW, something which I think should be addressed. After all, we play in the football league and FA cup and should, imo, be governed by that ruling body. It seems to me to be nonsense that you can play in these competitions but not come under their jurisdiction.

The FAW btw won't let us play in the Welsh Cup (the oldest cup competition in the world), a competition we've won 20-odd times and therefore deny us a route to europe. I've had some fabulous european trips to the likes of Servette (Martin Chivers was playing for them at the time), Arhuus, Standard Liege and Derry City to name but a few and countless home games. We even beat Real Madrid in the Cup-Winners Cup btw and have reached the semi-finals.

Only chance I'll get of europe is on my holidays i'm afraid :'(

    Bryan Robson making the draw...

....hope he hasn't had a drink, there'll be balls all over the floor!

I'll settle for a Cardiff/Barnsley final btw, a dream final - and would be so refreshing not to see a "big 4" final.

    Happy days eh?

I'll be honest with you - I haven't been on the Cardiff site yet!

I've read my emails, either saying congrats or trying to sell me viagra, and can't be bothered to go on our website - it'll just be too happy on there and I'm not used to that!

If I want a laugh and a bit of the "craic", I usually come here :D
