Don't get me wrong, I think it's a brilliant idea (didn't we do something similar against Leicester last year?) and I hope as a result we pull in 16,000 plus but what about the ST Holders who've forked out good money based on 23 matches at full price. Shouldn't there be some reward for their loyalty as well as trying to entice those who don't really care but might just go because it's a chea day pout?
Work out how much you pay per match with a ST Then compare that to normal match day prices. We've nowt to complain about.
I see what you are saying. We get a good price per game but pay in advance, go to every match etc. While there will be people paying for Forest who have hardly been this season and so not had to put up with a lot of the ***** we have by paying out 300 quid for a season ticket. Be nice if the club helped us out a bit as season ticket holders help them out when they need the cash the most. It's always been the case where we are forgot until we get the letter through the door wanting us to renew. I've not a problem with the Forest tickets as a one off though. Should be a great home atmopshere and just what we need in a six pointer. Just a shame we didn't sort it earlier to put Forest in half the west stand and give us the whole of the north stand.
We get first choice on away tickets as well. I have been to every home game (Ponty end) again this season & will have paid 12.61 on average rather than £20 (£19 since vat dropped) every game! Plus don't mess about ringing for a certain seat & getting it posted for an extra £1 or so! Most games you can pay on the gate but might have to sit low down in a corner etc! Put it this way, even including the discount on Forest & Notts Forest tickets, I have saved over £130 + have my own seat & am first in the que for away tickets. Good deal for me that!!!
This always comes up, there's always a ST holder thats aggrieved when a discount like this is given. Over the course of a season you get a good discount by getting a ST. You have to remember that they're not reducing the gate price because they want to save people money. They're doing it to get more fans in, so we have more chance of winning the game, and more chance of staying up, so we all get a better standard of game for our money next season. Balance that against what, less than a tenner discount, surely its worth missing out?
Have Patrick Cryne drop a tenner off at every season ticket holder's house. In his helicopter obviously.
Got a ST, can't complain about reducing prices on gate for a one off. Owt to fill the empty seats. Wouldn't mind em exchanging one of the ST vouchers for a free pint or pie. Not like were gonna need em this season.
I'm a season ticket holder And they could let everyone in for free for the final three home games as far as I'm concerned. I get a very good deal on my season ticket. At the moment the club needs the support so I whole heartedly support this venture. Well done Barnsley.
Maybe a certain percent off next seasons season ticket if bought in full by a certain date. Maybe used a ST voucher for so much off in the club shop for a limited period.
I'm more concerned that we tend to do **** in games when we put this sort of promotion on. One for Paul D I guess........
Why are some Season Ticket Holders like this every season Maybe if these season ticket holders got their part timer mates they bought Liverpool, Chelsea & Wembley tickets for to go to more than theglory gamesthe club wouldn't have to do deals to get the fans into the ground.
