I'vefollowed the retuning procedures but I still continue to get wrong transmitter on the BB1, BB2 etc. The strong signal from Emley Moor appears on the 800 channels. Any advice would be appreciated. I have already done automatic and manual retunings and get the same results.

    Relocate your channels

From the Menu if your set top box has this function. You should be able to swap and put them in preferential order. eg: switch 800 (BBC1?) with 101 and so on....

My 6+ Yrs old Sony gets to 40% and then stops

Never had a problem retuning before, so something fishy is going on. I understand a few older models have had issues...

22,000 have gone kaput since the retune. Suspicious buggers such as me think it's been a deliberate ploy to boost sales of new equipment!

    Don't think they've gone kaput

Mine is a very old model, an ITV digital box to be precise, and we've lost ITV4 and a couple of other channels, but I don't know what they are. I think that's the problem for the old boxes.

I'm missing ITV4 & FIVE (plus the new QUEST Channel)

    Probably some others too.

    Thanks for the info.

RE: I'm missing ITV4 & FIVE (plus the new QUEST Channel)

My Humax PVR lost ITV3 & 4 after the retune. Found a solution, if anyone's having the same prob. Turn box off at mains, disconnect aerial. Turn back on and return it to DEFAULT settings. Turn off, reconnect aerial, turn back on and do a full retune - ITV3 and 4 now back.

Did you just stumble upon that?

What else did you try? Giving it a shower? Inserting it in to an orifice?

    Fulham FC to thank.

Bloke at work is a Fulham fan. Retuned his Humax last week & sat down to watch their European game on ITV4 - blank screen. He phoned Humax and their support dept told him what to do - just passed the info on.
