Saturday, i couldnt go to the shithole, instead i took a bus full of Bradford Bulls fans to see the final at old trafford, yet the bulls weren't playing.

When i picked them up saturday night, they said they had a great day, brilliant final. St Helens beat Hull, also while i was waiting for them i saw more then one shirt that wasn't Saints or Hull.

Even the guys i took all had Bulls shirts on.

So would you go to a final in a Barnsley Shirt even though they are not in the final. i can imagine the answer is NO, because that doesnt happen in football without you getting your head kicked in.

Yeah i know what you mean. I had reletives go to Twickenham to watch Huddersfield Giants. They said every single side in the super league were represented in the crowd and with no trouble.

you do get crowd trouble at rugby league games from time to time just not on the same scale as at football games so it aint as widely reported, hull are especially notorious for trouble at their games.

Was at Old Trafford with my Wakefield shirt on sat in the West Stand in the middle of the Saints fans. Took the family and had a great day out. Would not dream of taking the family to S6

    RE: Do Explain......

It was a "merger" between Sheffield Eagles & Huddersfield Giants that ended up being a complete take over.
The current Sheffield Eagles team was re-formed after Huddersfield stole their players, league status and erased their name from history.

Same as what happened to Wimbledon.

    Huddersfield......

is the HOME of the sport. It was invented over 100 years ago at George Hotel. So regardless of politics Giants will always have a place in the sport.

    Yeah, by stealing other teams.

    Can't whitewash history.

Worse than what happened with Wimbledon in my opinion

Sheffield Eagles were in Superleague, Huddersfield in league below. They merged with an "agreement" that half the games would be played in Huddersfield and half in Sheffield - did they play any games at all in Sheffield? It was a cynical ploy to get a Superleague team in Huddersfield without winning promotion. Exactly the same happened with Hull and Gateshead.

    Total ******

Huddersfield got into Super League by stealing another club's place. FACT.

I don't give a **** about their history - that has NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with it.

It's traditional at RL finals for supporters of any club to attend.

Fans get tickets long before they know who will be contesting the final.
I know people who have gone to every Challenge Cup final for years.

    Course it was a merger!

and the took the 'Hudders' from Huddersfield and the 'field' from Sheffield to come up with their brand new, unique name!
