"Cypriot police have raided the offices of Helios Airways, a day after one of the airline's planes crashed in Greece, killing all 121 people on board."

I suspect they are after maintainence records. especially regarding repairs on air conditioning unit etc.

Whatever happened it allowed enough time and cold air to get onboard to freeze everyone solid!

    It would seem that

According to the news, The plane depressurised, many of the passengers managed to fit oxygen masks but the pilots didnt for some reason. The pilots lost conciousness (or in the case of the captain appear to have left their seats. so the plane continued on its course at 35000 feet till it ran out of fuel and crashed.

This seems very strange, there is a clear procedure in the event of cabin depressurisation - dive to 10 000 feet..

Also why did the plane crash so close to its destination if it ran out of fuel - surely it would have sufficient to fly a holding pattern divert etc if necessary.

its all a bit strange at the moment
