Well with the news that we’re supposedly signing a semi-professional hod carrier/taxi driver/cockle picker/cherry bun quality inspector (or whatever) that had a failed trial with Bury I think I’ve just about had enough. Oakwell is fast becoming a place for footballing waifs and strays, players that can’t cut it anywhere else so we buy them up to keep them from drinking on street corners or mugging grannies so they can afford their next issue of “Shoot!” Somebody please put a bullet in my head and throw my cold dead body in the Dearne. He didn't have a failed trial with Bury.He played for Bury against Sheff.Utd and Robson was very impressed so he took him on there tour of Ireland.Only then did Robson decide not to offer him terms although he had played well for the Blunts.
